The coworker who gave me his old typewriter jokingly asked me to pay him with “blueberry cheesecake.” What he didn’t know is I had blueberries in my freezer, picked fresh last year by my Great-Aunt Carolyn, and, having never made cheesecake before, couldn’t resist a challenge. Et voila. (For the record, it was pretty darn good.)
